VISION
According to the Strong’s Hebrew Lexicon (KJV), "hesed" חָיָה is a Hebrew word that is used over 250 times in the Old Testament referring to unfailing, steadfast and loyal love, referring to a type of lovingkindness that is from God, through us, and to others.
It is our vision at Hesed ADHD to see a world where ADHD-ers are able to lovingly and compassionately find long-lasting purpose, clear direction, and to thrive in being powerful and positive impacts in everything we do.
MISSION
At Hesed ADHD, our mission is to partner with ADHD-ers, or those who suspect a diagnosis of ADHD, from diverse backgrounds and walks of life, with particular specialization in Asian-Canadian, Asian-American, immigrant cultural backgrounds, women, and those of the Christian faith. We strive to strategically develop effective and unique tools rooted in holistic-person-centered care, evidence-based research and education, and a strengths-based, ADHD-informed perspective. Our aim is to enhance self-awareness, compassion, and understanding, empowering individuals to find clarity in their lives and become agents of change in the world.

Several health concerns & major health events within herself and her family. Continuous burn out with work. Constantly putting out "fires" within her life. Anxious, confused, frustrated, and very lost.
-
With great insistence and urgency by health professionals and family, and finally coming to terms with not putting this aside any longer, obtained a full assessment and diagnosis of ADHD as an adult in 2 countries (just to confirm her inner skeptic!)-- *deep breath* now everything started making sense... but of course, going through the cycle of grief, finally coming to terms with the diagnosis... now what?
-
Therapy! Working backwards to the present. Inner healing. IFS. And a lot of helpful podcasts and books (all of Aundi Kolber's books, The Best of You with Dr. Alison Cook, Made for This with Jennie Allen, ADDitude, Coach Cathy Rashidian's Proudly ADHD).
